My husband and I recently purchased a 1976 Argosy that was damaged in a storm, a tree fell on it. We are refurbishing it and need to know where we can find replacement trim for the ceiling. It’s metal and holds up the center piece of the ceiling.

I’ve tried many different web sites but can’t locate this type of trim.

If you know please let me know what it is called, we are anxious to use the trailer this summer. Thanks. S.

I was able to fine obsolete parts for my old Argosy at the Airstream dealer for the Seattle area. They put outrageous prices on them but that’s because there’s a limited supply. There are also, here in WA state, junk yards for used RV parts.

I have a 1976 Argosy and I’m looking for a widshield cover and an awning that has supports that convorm to it’s round shape. Does anyone know about converting the generator to a lighter and more economical one?

Has any one out there ever tried to hook up any of the few hydrogen assist units available out there for improved gas milage? Thanks Dave dvsart@hotmail.com

I have a 76 Argosy and on the side of it there is a chevy symbol and the numbers 454 in chrome relief.

my vin # implies that the motor is a 350. Now the 450 typically has solid lifters and the 350 hydrolic lifters. i’m in the mids of trying to adjust them and am very fearful of making a mistake. Are there more clues about the nature of the lifers that can give me the whole story? Thanks. Dave dvsart@hotmail.com
