No Wedding Photos of Grooms Family

Question: Dear Luise: second marriage for both…my son got married last Sunday and for months all we heard was to be in fall colors for the pictures. As it turns out none of our family (grooms) were in the wedding photos. we had four generations there and the entire time the focus was on the bride’s family. Please advise, I am hurt and feel rejected…we all were excited about the wedding and then devastated by the outcome.  I spent around $500 just to look my best at the wedding. D.

Answer: Dear D.: I would suggest you bring this issue over to my Web-forum at www.WiseWomenUnite.com where you will get multiple responses. Unfortunately, the family of the groom being virtually invisible at a wedding is a lot more common than you might imagine. That doesn’t make it any easier to take, however. Blessings, Luise

Our son is getting married soon and I feel we will be left out of more than pics. If she didn’t have my grandchild I would say something. BC
