I Hate my Mom and I Think She Hates Me

Question: Dear Luise: I hate my mom. She is often mad at me, too. Sometimes I think she hates me. R.

Answer: Dear R.: Mom’s can be a pain at times. I agree with that. Yet kids without moms often have it worse than you do. Moms can sometimes come in handy.

Many kids get disgusted and when they think they can survive, they hit the streets. Most of them find out that it’s worse out there, not better.

As long as you are stuck with your mom, try to stay out of her way and don’t keep making it worse.

The day will come when you can manage your own life and you may end up doing a lot better job than she has. Watch and learn. Blessings, Luise

Dear S.: I don’t know why parents do that. They are always taking about building their kid’s self-esteem and then they tear them down. When my son went away to college, his dad noticed that his tools were still misplaced and sometimes missing. Guess who? It’s so darn easy to find someone to blame. I don’t know what you can do except know that it’s unfair and besides that, make a promise to yourself that you are never going to treat a kid like that. Blessings, Luise

mothers are the most tortured. when you give your life to raise a child its out of love. we will make mistakes. we will over re-act. we will seem unbelievable. but, NO ONE can love you more, no one can care more. even if it seems she hates you; she doesn’t. she is trying just as hard to be a good mother as you are trying to be a good kid. its a give and take relationship. be fair with your takes!! she hurts too.
when you are trying to help one of you teen friends isn’t it frustrating????????????? well, so is mom.
p.s. moms aren’t perfect and neither are you. PRAY! D.
