		<description>As a youth development specialist with 20 years of experience working directly with kids, it seems apparent to me that one big problem may be that the step-mother is trying to force a relationship that the stepson did not ask for and does not want.  The rules for all the kids in the house should be the same, and should be set by both adults.  However, beyond that, once the step-mother lets the son know that she loves him and will be there for him WHEN HE IS READY, she needs to back off and let their relationship develop naturally.</description>
