Hi! My comment is for the person Mel, who wants to grow and sell organic herbs, I grow my own organic herbs for my family as well as my business. I too am growing and selling my organic herbs. In my Oregon coast town I have a co-op store where I can take my herbs and vegetables to sell. Maybe look into that as well as maybe just set up a sale like a yard sale and see what happens. Dear Gwen: I think you may be onto something here. What a great idea for your son. The book I mentioned is very comprehensive and easy to follow. A one-of-a-kind for this specific hobby. Creating something engrossing as well as profitable might be a deeply rewarding project for the two of you to share.

I will be looking up the links you give in this website. I am thinking of starting a small business in my community as something for my adult autistic son to take an interest in and would like to expand it so that other adult developmentally disabled people can possibly take part in. It is difficult to find things for them to do during the day and I thought this might be something I would try. I will certainly read everything I can before going any further with the idea. Thanks for the information.
