Question: Dear Luise: It have been few months since my father committed suicide. I had to plan the funeral and gave eulogy speech. I did not cry at funeral and ever since. I feel emotionally distant from people and could not be emotionally involved with anyone. I have nightmares about my father everyday because I saw him hanged in the garage. All of my nightmares is about my father chasing me, I always run away from him. Sometime he is being mean and trying to hurt me in my dream. Normally I always sleep in until 10 or 11 but I can’t sleep past 7am. I just want the nightmare to stop, what should I do about it? A.
