New Year’s Resolution: Jayco Motorhomes Are For Me
Question: Dear Luise: I’ve just decided that Jayco motorhomes are for me. Now I have to screw up the courage to put my money where my mouth is! So that’s my New Year’s resolution. Do you ever make any resolutions that have to do with your RV? Last year I resolved to get past my resistance and do some really extensive research. If you’re interested, the winner is the Seneca HD. So, now I have to get off the dime and part with it! Or I’m going to be too old to learn new tricks! Ted
Answer: Dear Ted: Congratulations! You sound pretty tickled with yourself. I know that writing that check may require that you take two aspirins and lie down, but once you hit the road, you’ll be whistling Dixie whether you head that way or not. Be sure you get your senior citizen discount every stop you make…it makes a difference!
I have known about the Jayco make for years. They have a terrific reputation and an awesome owner’s club…among other things. I just looked up the model you have chosen and you sure have done your homework! That baby is going to take you where you want to go and never feel it.
We have used New Year’s resolutions as you have on several occasions. Two that I can recall were in 1990 to make ourselves quit putting off buying a new Sunrader motorhome and again in 1995 when we decided to completely redecorate and refurnish our stationary Fleetwood 5th Wheel…both rather large undertakings for us. I wonder if we would have done either without that commitment. Viva la New Year’s resolutions!
You’ve made me think about today being January first and what I might revolve for 2006. OK, here we go. I will create a savings account specifically for the purpose of putting a roof over our stationary, vintage travel trailer, the 1971 Argosy I have written about previously. So there you go! Thanks for the idea and enjoy that Jayco Motorhome! Blessings, Luise
