Lilly's comment is most certainly legit, this is the company writing and we've never heard of her. If we have something to say, we say it directly.

We have recently made several additional product improvements, most importantly making the frames and handles from a much sturdier material than before. Broken handles and frames were the most common issues in the past, and we have addressed this. After all, if it ends up in the landfill in a year or two, we can't fairly call it eco-friendly.

My shipment arrived just in a couple of days. I will tell everyone to keep this in mind they do offer excellent service to everyone.
i will highly recommend to everyone.

The Laundry Alternative, is a horrible place to purchase from. I too purchased an item from them and have not received the item or got a reply to my endless emails and phone messages. I believe this company is a scam because as you read above I am not the only one taken for a ride.

Check there status on the Better Business Bureau website (http://www.bbbonline.org/). They have horrible ratings.

BEWARE!

Actually the Wonderwash can easily wash 1-2 pairs of blue jeans per load, it can also wash towels and even sheets.

The spin dryer is certainly not expensive, it is actually significantly underpriced if you look at the world spin dryer market. The spin speed is over 3,000 rpm, must faster than even the most expensive front loaders on the market. It removes as much water from the clothes in 2-3 minutes as a tumble dryer would in 30-35 minutes, using a fraction of the electricity. It does not get them all the way dry, but quite close to it.

Both products have their pros and cons, some people will like them and some won't. It isn't correct to say they are "good" or "bad" as everyone is different. With the Wonderwash it is a hand-crank washer, so people who think this might be a hassle would be better off not buying it. We are open to criticism- like any company we are not perfect- but it would benefit people more if the criticism were more accurate and fact-based. Regardless of whether someone likes our company, it is a fact that our prices are actually well below market level. Secondly we are environmentally conscious and have been so for many years (before it was hip).

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE LAUNDRY ALTERNATIVE INC. This is the absolute worst company to purchase items online from. They have awful customer service representatives who are so rude and unhelpful. I simply emailed them to ask them how long my order would take to arrive, and I was called difficult and unfriendly. I'm not sure what I did wrong... it was just a question. The wonderwash doesn't do much more than what you could do in a bucket or in the sink, and it is just as much work. The spin dryer really doesn't cut down on drying time enough to spend $150 on it. Also, this company has no interest whatsoever in being environmentally friendly. They are simply trying to make money by overcharging for very simple items.
