Seeking Long Term Relationship Advice

Question: Dear Luise: My partner isn’t interested in Spirituality, and it is my number one focus. I’m not sure whether to continue with him, or move on. I’m in need of some long term relationship advice. What do you think? Marsha

Answer: Dear Marsha: You didn’t give me much to work with on this one. How long have you been together? Was it always like this or have either or both of you changed? What have you based your relationship on? Is it working in that area?

You don’t need to write me with the answers to these questions, answer them for yourself and see what you get. Look at your priorities. To be truthful, your question sounds pretty dispassionate. Spirituality is about love, first and foremost, isn’t it? Do some real digging and see what you come up with. If you want to write again, please feel free. Blessings, Luise

About Luise Volta

Luise’s long life has brought her to being the great grandmother of four teenagers. Born in 1927, the miles in between her teens and theirs have been full of falling and getting up, learning and growing and then falling and getting up again. A normal, though not simple, process. She has had diverse careers in nursing, teaching preschool, interior design, Real Estate sales, insurance adjusting and dairy herd testing. She’s lived in the Mid-west, South and West Coast. Luise is married to the love of her life, Val, born in 1911. Their little terrier, “Rosa,” makes most of the major decisions at their house, (or thinks she does).
