Where Can I Look For The VIN?

Question: Dear Luise: I purchased a 1981, 27′ Marauder Buccaneer bumper pull. I got a signed and notarized title in hand however we cannot find the “VIN” plate. The hitch has been recently painted and the interior has been gutted for a few years. The previous owners titled over two years. Sheriff & Hwy patrol have run the title and do not find it listed as stolen. Where all can I look for the VIN #? L.

Answer: Dear L.: Remove the paint from the tongue and then sand it carefully. The Vehicle Identification Number is often imprinted there. Blessings, Luise
