Any Ranch House Fifthwheel Info?

Question: Dear Luise: We have a 1979, 36′ fifth-wheel. Beside the door, it says “Ranch House.” We are trying to find out who manufactured this model.  The only sticker we can find says: Specialty Sales and Manufacturing, Elkhart, Indiana and the following numbers: 36 1042 9. Any ideas on who made these trailers? R.

Answer: Dear R.: This is a long shot but why not write to the Elkhart Chamber of Commerce to see what kind of history they may have on that company and if there is anyone still around that you can contact that was once with them? Beyond that lets see if someone comes forward when this is published. I’m not familiar with Ranch House. Blessings, Luise
